Remove any leaves that will sit below the waterline. Trim the stems at a 45-degree angle before placing them in a clean vase with fresh water. Replace the water every 2–3 days, re-trim the stems as needed, and keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, heat, and ripening fruit.
